Benari - 1 Benari - 2 Benari-3

Examine the urban landscape through the eyes of Michael Benari in his photographic exhibition, "Reality - Deconstructed", exclusively shot with his Leica M6 using black and white film. Reality-Deconstructed surveys nature and architecture through a selection of Benari's projects, including: "Guggenheim Museum Bilbao", "Nature Abstracted" and "Holocaust Memorial Berlin". He aims to use these visual elements in ways that surprise, and at times, provoke, so as to invite the viewer into new realms. Benari's work questions what we assume to know and his use of abstraction further challenges our understanding of what defines photography.

"It's been said that all reality is ultimately abstract, meaning that our shared perception is ultimately filtered by our own, personal, yet still, universal experience as living, conscious beings." - Michael Benari 2017
